Using Lyric Monitors

Take advantage of our lyric monitors! Using an industry standard file format (ChordPro) helps to standardize the process of importing everyone’s lyrics.

Please follow the instructions below to prepare your own files for your performance. Use of lyric monitors is in no way required, it’s simply up to you and your preferences!

For Your Performance:

Please bring all the lyric files you need ahead of time on a USB drive or send them via email to soberay365@soberay365.com. When you arrive we’ll load them into the system.

There are up to 4 monitors for your usage- 2 vocal monitors, 1 for the drum kit, and 1 for the keyboard; the last 2 of which, within reason, can be moved around as needed.

Control during your performance is accomplished through use of a foot pedal with 4 labeled buttons- scrolling up and down, and moving back and forth between songs.

Please email soberay365@soberay365.com with any questions or concerns.

Method 1 - Covering a Song

Use Ultimate Guitar & Menee’s Chord Converter to create a lyric file

(see video below for instructions)

Method 2 - Original Song/Lyrics

If you have an original song, you’ll need to create the file from scratch (if you don’t already have one). Many musicians are already familiar with ChordPro format- if so, carry on! Otherwise, there are many online tutorials you can follow to create your own.

Method 3 - Submit Request

For a fee of $8 per cover song or $15 per original song (i.e. file needs to be created from scratch) we will do the work for you!

Please provide enough notice, at least one day before your performance!
