What to bring with me?
What’s there already?
-
Vocals: We have up to 4 Shure SM58 wired mics for you to use!
Instruments:
We have 2 Shure SM57 condenser mics you can use to mic an acoustic guitar or amp without a direct out connection.
2 Audio-Technica ATM450 overhead mics for drum kit
1 Audio-Technica ATM250 for kick drum
Because the venue is relatively small, we prefer to use direct outs on each instrument when possible, which gives the sound technician the most control possible to properly balance each input for the best possible room mix.
-
We have 3 guitar amps for you to use, each with a direct out connection into the audio system, which means sound will not come out of the amp’s speakers. As stated above, this allows us to control the room mix more effectively for the best sound possible without something being overpowered by an amp not controlled from the board. If you’re used to practicing with an amp behind you, our stage monitors should provide the same effect during your performance.
2 Mustang GTX100 Amps
1 Rumble 100 Bass Amp
-
The following instruments are available to use during your performance, but we generally recommend you bring your own.
House drum set (the one exception, this is often easier than lugging an entire set of your own in!)
Electric guitar
Acoustic guitar
Keyboard
-
There are 2 monitors mounted behind the line arrays and one near the drum set, allowing for 3 separate monitor mixes on stage, allowing certain performers to hear a different mix during a song.
-
2 direct boxes are available to convert from 1/4” to XLR.
-
Up to 4 monitors are available to use if you bring your own lyrics (see left), 2 vocal monitors, 1 drum, and 1 keyboard.
What should I bring?
-
You are welcome to bring your own wireless microphones or other instrument connections (i.e. wireless transmitter from guitar to amp) and use the plentiful inputs on the stage.
-
We think it’s best to bring your own instruments that you have practiced and learned with, as you’ll get the best performance out of it! If you need more than 3 amps (see right) you’re welcome to bring more. If possible, we prefer amps with a direct output to tap into the existing sound system.
-
If you want more individualized mixes for players/performers, you can bring a wireless in-ear system. Please let us know ahead of time if you bring one so we can make additional preparations.
-
If what you need isn’t listed, or in rare cases, what we have isn’t enough (i.e. not enough microphones) you can bring anything you might need as long as it will work with our integrated system. See below for more details.
-
If you want to utilize our lyric monitors please bring your own lyric files. Click the button below for a guide on how to prepare these files before your performance.
